Speech Recognition Now Available
Record as normal. Send to a Speech Recognition workflow to have your work automatically transcribed. The two workflow options, Speech Recognition only and Speech Recognition with proofing, gives authors the option to send to themselves or their assistants. The additional Action column gives visibility to tasks that are related to the automatic transcription such as when it is ready for Proofreading. When Speech Recognition gets part of a transcription wrong, the user can make corrections and click the BigHand correct button. This action sends the corrected text back to the server which then “learns” and refines the user’s speaker profile, thus increasing future accuracy.

Built For The Cloud
BigHand users can use BigHand via RDP with the full functionality of the BigHand client. BigHand also connects via VPN over Terminal, letting users have access to the BigHand application. A remote PC can have BigHand installed or users can use Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) to their work PC with BigHand already installed.
